RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troy University, Montgomery Campus is currently accepting applications for the full-time, tenure-track faculty position of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Accounting for the Sorrell College of Business. Duties include, but are not limited to: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting; leadership in program development at the undergraduate and graduate level in Accounting; engagement in scholarly activities; mentoring faculty; advising students; commitment to service to the university and community; and other duties as identified by the Associate Dean of the College of Business. Salary is competitive and commensurate with candidate's qualifications and experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting is required. ABDs near completion will be considered.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to candidates with strong records of research and teaching, CPA and/or CMA certifications, specialization in either audit or taxation, and the ability to teach accounting information systems.
