Position Summary:
Primary responsibility to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting systems. Ability to teach in more than one area of accounting is required. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track position with renewable contracts. Teaching load is four course sections (12 credit hours) per semester, plus administrative service. Involvement in school and departmental activities is expected. Research and publication are encouraged.
Minimum Qualifications:
MBA or other applicable master's degree, or PhD. Candidates must also have relevant practical experience. Renewal of contracts will depend on maintaining a record of effective teaching and satisfactory service performance.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or other professional certification preferred. Teaching experience with tangible evidence of teaching excellence preferred. Familiarity with the current challenges facing the accounting profession is a plus.
