Morehead State University, recognized as one of the top public universities in the South by U.S. News & World Report, is accepting applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Finance with a Healthcare Finance emphasis beginning January or August 2011 in the School of Business Administration within the College of Business and Public Affairs.
Responsibilities: Teaching duties include 3 to 4 courses (2 to 3 preparations) per semester of undergraduate and graduate courses in finance. An expected load would include a mix of corporate finance and healthcare finance at the undergraduate and graduate level. Scholarly activity leading to publication in peer-reviewed academic journals in one or more of these finance teaching areas is expected. The College of Business and Public Affairs is fully accredited by AACSB International.
Qualifications: Doctorate in finance or similar field; however, ABD's who are close to completion are encouraged to apply. The position is open to individuals with teaching interests in and demonstrated research activity in healthcare finance.
