Thomas University is seeking a Chair of the Division of Business and professor of Business to begin fall semester 2010. This is a 10-month faculty appointment that includes administrative duties and teaching undergraduate or graduate courses. Thomas University is committed to diversity; rank and salary commensurate with experience.
A doctorate in Business or related field required. Disciplinary expertise in economics, finance, and/or business research preferred. Candidates must have a proven record of excellent teaching and departmental leadership, adept practice with instructional/online technology and pedagogy, accreditation experience, and vision for growing bachelors and masters programs. The Chair must provide leadership for domestic and international program initiatives, oversee quality programs, professional accreditation, and engaged faculty.
The Chair is expected to serve as a leader on departmental and university committees, pursue professional development, actively participate in community partnerships, and collaborate on research and grant opportunities.
