Description The School of Business and Economics at Michigan Technological University invites applications from highly motivated, creative individuals for the Rick and Jo Berquist Professorship in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This is an endowed position at the full professor level (tenure possible at the time of appointment) but other ranks may be considered. The individual may also serve as the Co-Director of the University's Institute for Leadership and Innovation, which includes entrepreneurial activities and programs.

Candidates are expected to provide leadership in research, further develop the School's programs and curricula in entrepreneurship and innovation, develop sources of external funding for research and Institute activities, and enhance the impact and visibility of the Institute. This position provides an opportunity for an individual to continue, or enhance, a national reputation in entrepreneurship and innovation and develop a campus-wide leadership presence. The successful candidate will be expected to sustain a vigorous, nationally visible research program as well as contribute effectively to both undergraduate and graduate teaching. Candidates must have a PhD. Candidates should send (1) a letter of application describing qualifications for the position, (2) a current CV, (3) a list of references, (4) a one page summary statement describing career research plans, and (5) a one page summary statement describing career teaching plans.
