Description
Teach undergraduate courses in the Facilities Planning & Management program. Technical courses will have both lecture and lab components fitting with the Institute's hands-on approach to education. Proficiency in a minimum of four of the following areas of expertise is required: Space Planning, Space Management, Building Systems, Building Management, Operations, Real Estate, Tenant fit-out, Lease Management, Long Range Planning, Capital Planning, Budgeting, CAFM, and Project Management. Ability to teach across disciplines in the department is a plus.
Participate in curricular development, and student club advising within the department.
Participate in institute service activities including committee and professional organizations.
Maintain active connections with the academic community and professional organizations.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree, College level teaching, 5-years FM experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Degree, College level teaching, 8-years FM experience, IFMA member.
